Wild Kitchen Garden
RHS Chelsea Flower Show
The Wild Kitchen garden brings wild edibleplants into a small urban setting. The planting is informal, airy and natural with soft colours and a variety of textures. It’s a garden for those who love cooking, a place to forage and harvest, as well as being an intriguing patch of wildness in a city.
I was inspired to create this garden by my walks in the Derbyshire countryside during the pandemic where I studied flowers and plants on verges and in hedgerows and fields. These plants, resilient and sustainable, are both attractive and useful. Plus, they are delicious!
